Michael Englefield started his role as Copy & Content Manager for Unum UK in April 2021. Before settling in to the slightly more rural location of Unum UK’s HQ in leafy Dorking, he lived and worked in London for 13 years producing financial services content for companies ranging from market researchers to insurers, wealth managers and a company tracking and reporting on the finances of sovereign wealth funds and the world’s largest pension funds. As Unum UK’s Copy & Content Manager, Michael is responsible for producing press releases, articles, social media posts and more for Unum UK, establishing and maintaining their tone of voice and brand at all times.

Outside of work, Michael is surprised to find himself enjoying the quiet life in a small Hampshire village, a big change from his previous tiny flat in South East London. Public transport may be non-existent and he’s still getting used to neighbours who want to stop for a chat, but he loves getting out and exploring the wide open countryside.
