Heart health is very important to Colonial Life President and CEO Tim Arnold.
Arnold, chair of the American Heart Association Midlands Heart Walk on April 1, has personally experienced the dramatic effects that heart disease can have.
“Heart health is very important to me and my family because I’ve seen several family members and close friends battle heart disease and stroke,” Tim said. “At Colonial Life, we work every day to help America’s workers and their families live healthier lives, and the Heart Walk is one of the ways we can raise awareness and funds to battle both.”
Arnold recently joined this year’s Heart Hero, Emily, to film a commercial to promote the Heart Walk (You can view that video below.) Emily underwent open heart surgery and is living proof that heart health and education are so important.
Arnold is scheduled to appear on the ABC Columbia morning show on March 29 and the WLTX-TV morning show on March 30 to discuss the walk and heart health.
