As we skip toward our first New Year’s Eve since the launch of WorkLife, we notice dozens of other websites touting their most-read and most-popular stories of the year.
We didn’t want to be left out, so we thought we’d do one too.
What trends did we notice in our top 2016 stories? None. In fact, your favorite stories of the year were far-ranging.
They included articles on workplace productivity (“The 3 keys to career success” and “Office politics: Tips for mixing work and elections”). And they included tips for healthy living (“Fantasy sports fueling rise in online gambling addiction” and “Put down the devices, and step away”).
Some of your top stories were on financial management (“Holiday spending — with our without budget”). But they were also about your benefits and insurance choices (“Term life or whole life: What to choose?” and “Pay attention to what’s hidden in your paycheck”).
Our favorite, of course, was the video of Jamie Fredrickson sharing her daughter’s battle with leukemia. But we’re always in the mood for a good tear-jerker.
