Mission: Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA) is a dynamic organization with an eye on the future. A leader in the community and a state and national model, MEBA has worked since 1990 to strengthen education and business connections, foster community collaboration, answer workforce needs, promote economic development and enhance the quality of life in the Midlands. Our mission is to connect students of all ages, parents, and educators to career opportunities through business partnerships, training and resources. How Colonial Life supports the MEBA: Colonial Life and MEBA partnered together this year to launch the Midlands Educator Leadership Experience for school administrators, executives and principals. This 10-month pilot program has been designed to strengthen participant’s visions for their schools’ and students’ success. For nearly a decade, Colonial Life has been supporting MEBA’s efforts to equip students and their parents with the tools and educational experiences and opportunities to help young people experience success during their school career and when they enter the workforce.
