Amir Abdullah got star treatment in the Fall 2015 issue of Equal Opportunity magazine in a feature on careers in insurance. Equal Opportunity encourages African-American, Hispanic, Native American and Asian-American students and professionals to move ahead in their careers.
Abdullah, a director in sales compensation design and sales planning, is no stranger to working in a constantly evolving insurance industry. In fact, he was first attracted to a pursuing a career with Unum through its Professional Development Program because of its flexibility.
